We started MyRiskControl in 2007 because we were disappointed with the low marginal profits and high rate of business failure in the construction industry. Contractors are typically great builders but not necessarily of businesses. So, we set out to build a simple way to give them the tools and information they needed to work ON their business, rather than IN their business... to help them build the foundation for long-term strength and security. Because most companies can’t afford to hire a risk management expert, we designed MyRiskControl to help infuse a risk control culture within a company, with each department head taking responsibility for risk in his or her area. And whenever they need it... we’re there every step of the way to help. Along the way, we began receiving inquiries from banks, sureties, and other creditors asking us to help analyze the credit worthiness of their clients or prospects. This led to our adoption of the DGR Risk Analysis System, which allows us to provide underwriters with the information, analysis and guidance necessary for proper decision making. We believe in honesty, integrity, and holding to our commitment to help every contractor maximize profitability and develop long-term strength and security. Simply put; we will help you build a stronger foundation for your company. -MyRiskControl Team Background The MyRiskControl team is led by Dave Druml whose business expertise, inspiring leadership, and passion for excellence ensure we always put our clients first. In 1971, Dave started as shop mechanic, and slowly worked his way up having stints as a dump truck and concrete truck driver, a laborer, a carpenter's apprentice, a crane operator, a foreman, a superintendent, a construction manager, a salesman and eventually as CFO and owner. By the age of 30, Dave was able to build a thriving concrete construction business with 175 employees, which he sold in 1989 before moving to California.
As the driving force behind the DGR Risk Analysis System, he has been instrumental in standardizing risk analysis for high-risk industries and helping drive new technology to assist all companies, big or small. |
In California, Dave’s first experience involved managing demolition of The Embarcadero Freeway in San Francisco following the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake. Dave parlayed his experience into a successful consulting business, helping other entrepreneurs, business owners and managers build businesses that work.
Today, as a nationally recognized risk control expert, Dave works directly with contractors, accountants, banks, lawyers, and insurance companies to help institute systems, policies and procedures to assess, reduce and transfer risk.
